MYSTERY QUILT "Miss Maudie's Farm"

If you have had a peek in my sewing bag this year you may have spied a few snippets from a new quilt I have been working on.

My last mystery quilt "Butterfly Ball" was lots of fun, so I'm ready again

Miss Maudie's farm is my new mystery quilt, and I love a good mystery. All I will tell you is it is an album quilt, some appliquéd, some pieced and some appliquéd and pieced. Mine is worked in pinks, chartreuse, deep red, and lots of other highlight colours

Flossie Cornett

My Flossie Cornett quilt is still in progress. I made a quilt using this block design many years ago, and decided to use it again to make a quilt, using Liberty, low volume fabrics and some embroidery, reminiscent of embroidered doilies from the 1930s, 1940s.
